Self-Pay Rates
Individual Psychotherapy Sessions (53-60 minutes): $180
Relationship/Couple Sessions (60 minutes): $200
I offer a limited number of reduced-fee spots for individuals for whom finances are a barrier to accessing my services. Please discuss this with me during our initial consultation if this is a concern for you.
Accepted Payments
I accept payment via debit or credit card, HSA or FSA card, and payment will be due at the time of session.
In-Network Insurance
I am in-network with Aetna insurance (with UHC/UMR, BCBS, Medicaid and Medicare currently pending). If you are located in a PSYPACT state and have an Aetna PPO plan, my services may be covered by your insurance. Please contact your insurance company to confirm your mental health benefits.
For all other insurance providers, I am considered an “out-of-network” provider. If you have out-of-network mental health benefits, you would still be responsible for paying for your session in full at the time of service. I can then provide you with a “superbill”, a receipt with appropriate details for you to seek reimbursement from your insurance carrier upon request.
Good Faith Estimate Notice
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
